Andronicus II Palaeologus, 1282-1328. Tornese (Silver, 19 mm, 0.81 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis, 1282-1295. AN[...] Andronicus II standing facing, wearing crown with pendilia and loros, holding cruciform scepter in his right hand and akakia in his left; to lower left and right, B - B; in upper field to right, manus Dei blessig the emperor. Rev. KOMNHNOC O ΠAΛЄOΛOΓOC around cross pattée with large B at intersection; in each angle, pellet. Bendall, LPC, -. Lianta 640. SB 2327 var. (without B's). Rare. Light deposits and with two minor scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
